The tourist flow continues to grow, 38% more
Albania, during the month of May 2024, was visited by about 974 thousand foreign tourists, bringing the total number of incoming tourist flows to more than 3.3 million in the first five months of the year in our country.
While publishing the new statistics, the Minister of Tourism Mirela Kumbaro emphasized that with the approach of the peak of the coastal tourist season, the institutional responsibility and attention to present the best of the Albanian tourist offer under the slogan “Albania All Senses” increases.
Ms. Kumbaro underlined that “in May of this year, 38% more foreign tourists visited our country than a year ago, bringing the number of tourists we have received in these five months to 3.3 million, as the peak of the coastal tourist season approaches, we strengthen all the institutional attention and the spirit of hospitality to present the best of “AlbaniaAllSenses”.
The Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro is following the tour of inspections in the coastal municipalities with the aim of monitoring the fulfillment and respect of standards, cleanliness, public spaces and safety in tourism.
