Paragliding, as an aeronautical sport, dates in 1990. And Albania’s topographic conditions and nature offer many opportunities to practice paragliding and related sports. The most popular and best spot for paragliding are the slopes of Llogora, in southern Albania, given the favorable direction of the wind. Llogara is also popular among international practitioners of the sport and is used by paratroopers as a meeting spot. Besides Llogara Mountain, paratroopers can also practice paragliding in Morava, near Korçë, Mount Dajti in Tirana, and Tarabosh Mount in Shkodra.
