ITB Berlin, meetings with counterparts from National Tourism Agencies
During the days of the ITB Berlin Fair, the General Director of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, met with Balkan counterparts, with whom experiences were exchanged and possibilities for cooperation were discussed.
In the meeting with the General Director of the National Tourism Agency of Serbia, Marija Labovic, discussions were held on promotion methods, marketing campaigns, the advantages of membership in the ETC, as well as the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two agencies and the possibility of creating joint marketing campaigns.
Director Çela also met with the General Director of the National Tourism Agency of Slovenia, Maja Pak, with whom they discussed about Slovenia’s main tourism products, certification schemes in tourism and sustainable development, rural tourism, the importance of increasing overnight stays in Slovenia, and the signing of a cooperation agreement.
Another meeting was held with the General Director of the National Tourism Agency of Croatia, Kristjan Stanicic, with whom experiences regarding the organization and main focus of the Agencies, digital campaigns, major tourist markets were exchanged, and an agreement was reached on signing a memorandum of cooperation.
The General Director of the NTA also discussed with the General Director of the National Tourism Agency of North Macedonia, Jasmina Leskarovska, about promoting common tourist products and a cooperation agreement.
During a meeting with the counterpart from Montenegro, Ana Tripkovic Markovic, the importance of our countries’ membership in the ETC and the memorandum of cooperation between the two agencies of Albania and Montenegro were discussed. In the meeting with the Director of the Tourism Agency in Romania, Ioana Ciutre Podosu, she talked about the organization of the Agency she leads and discussed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between our two agencies.
