FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid concludes
The International Tourism Trade Fair FITUR, held in Madrid from January 24-28, concluded successfully for Albania, which showcased its unique offerings to the global tourism community, highlighting natural tourism in the beautiful Alps, coastal landscapes, cultural heritage tourism, traditional hospitality, and culinary and artisanal products.
Throughout the fair days, the Albanian stand, among 152 participating countries, was among the most visited, and the interest in our country as a destination for sustainable tourism was exceptionally high.
Alongside high-level state meetings held at our stand by Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, numerous meetings were conducted by Zana Çela, the Director of the National Tourism Agency, with foreign partners, tour operators, both foreign and Albanian, discussing collaborations in the tourism sector and new strategies for promoting tourism and presenting Albania as a leading destination in the Southeast European region and beyond.
Under the spectacular interest of all stakeholders, companies, businesses, media, and , vacationers from Spain and various countries around the world received answers from the AKT staff regarding their inquiries about Albania’s enchanting attractions. Now, after sunny Madrid, our country prepares for another significant fair.
