Tirana dressed in red and black hosts the “Parade of Albanians”
In Tirana dressed in red and black on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the National Independence Day of Albania, the “Parade of Albanians” will be held for the first time.
This parade is the idea of the diaspora association “Albanian Roots” and is implemented in cooperation with the municipality of Tirana, following the several-year tradition of the “Parade of Albanians” in New York.
The “Parade of Albanians” is expected to start around 11:00 on November 28, in the “Mother Teresa” square, where thousands of Albanians from all Albanian territories, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Arberesh diaspora, will parade with red and black flags, that are our national symbols on the central boulevard of the Albanian capital “Deshmoret e Kombit” in front of Skenderbej square, where our national flag will be symbolically raised by the heads of state.
The Albanian Flag Festival will bring together in the capital more than 125 municipalities of Albanian territories around the world.
