Some of our suggestions:
Ksamil Beach – Considered as the “pearl of the Ionian”, the coast of Ksamil offers a range of options, such as white sand beaches, hidden bays and four small, green islands. This bay can be reached by swimming or boat.
Butrinti- Described as a “microcosm of Mediterranean history”, Butrint is the first Albanian archaeological site to be included on the UNESCO heritage list in 1992. This ancient city, which was founded around the early 7th century BC, has attracted the attention of historians and travelers for thousands of years.
The Blue Eye- Among the area’s many treasures, the blue eye is considered a natural phenomenon of the first category. Under the sun’s rays, cold water flowing from a depth of about 50 meters takes on the blue color in the form of an eye. The center of the source in deep blue is clearly distinguished from the rest, which is green in color.
Seagull Beach – In a small bay, located about 10 kilometers from Saranda is Seagull Beach. Clear waters that crash over the white pebbles of this rocky shore make this beach a perfect place to enjoy the sun and Mediterranean climate of the country.
The Beach of Tiles – part of the historical memory of Saranda, with the status “protected by the state”. The Beach of Tiles is located beyond the tourist port of Saranda, in the Hill district. With rock formations washed by the waves of the sea offers the opportunity to make the beach
comfortable, in natural conditions. The whiteness of the tiles and the harmonious combination of blue sky and Ionian sea make it among the beaches preferred by locals but also foreign tourists.
Monastery of 40 Saints – The city of Saranda has an ancient history. The stunning panorama of this ancient city and its surroundings can be enjoyed from the hills near the city. One of these magical places is the monastery from which the city of Saranda is thought to have taken its name.
Lekursi Castle – A treasure of local cultural heritage and not only located on top of a hill among the ruins of the village of the same name. The castle has a unique strategic position from where you can see the whole city of Saranda and the road that goes to Butrint, you can also enjoy a panorama of the islands of Ksamil.
